Abstract
In the article the theoretical aspects of the problem of forming the readiness of future preschool teachers for the ecological education of preschool children are highlighted. The basic concepts of research are described: «culture», «ecology», «ecological consciousness». The role of ecological consciousness of personality is revealed. The principles of ecological education are defined. The components of the professional readiness of future educators of pre-school establishments for the ecological education of preschool children are described.
