Abstract
The present paper describes the State Archive of Kyiv oblast as the center of social communication. It establishes the following directions of the communication interaction of the archive with the society: regular contacts with mass media, organization of excursions, exhibitions, lectures for students, arrangement of on-the-job training and educational internship of higher educational institutions students on the basis of archives. The archive manages information requests, organizes conferences, scientific tables, conducts offsite lectures, cooperates with archives and museums.
