Abstract
This article deals with present information processes and confronts background information on ideological war escalated by the Soviet Union on the occupied West-Ukrainian. We consider such aspects of the topics as the designated periods of outreach war against the people of Galicia. We describe the process of implementation of Soviet dominion in the region, and the specific of the election campaign by joining Western Ukraine to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic under the impact of Bolshevik’s propaganda. Details of the information war against the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church were defined.
