Abstract
The course is designed to form the theoretical basis of the Master's degree in Journalism and Media Communication, so the purpose of its study is to familiarize students with the main trends of the modern media sphere and prospects and directions of its development; prepare them for rapid adaptation in the conditions of change and development of technical and technological bases of journalistic activity, increase of requirements for professional knowledge, skills and abilities; to form the ability to combine unbroken journalistic standards with new conditions and forms of work; to acquire knowledge, skills and work skills in new mass media; teach him to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. The main objective of the course is to develop the ability to analyze the current state and prospects of the media industry, to master the necessary skills and skills for successful professional activities in the future. The objectives of the course are: determine the prospects for the development of journalism, various forms and methods of media activity, types of media outlets; concentrate attention on the main aspects of creative, editorial, organizational, techno-technological, communicative preparation of a journalist in the light of the requirements for future professional activities; prepare students for activities in new and varied environments; contribute to the mastering of the main provisions of the course, the study of general and specific laws that operate in journalism science; Form the skills and abilities of a modern and universal journalist-professional.
