Abstract
The discipline "Imageology" is designed to develop the knowledge and skills of the bachelor of journalism in the aspect of rational-critical understanding of phenomena and processes in the field of image-making, creative application of these 2 knowledge of the journalist's practical activities. The purpose of teaching discipline is to master students of knowledge on imageology as a science and discipline, image-making as a form of modern social communication; awareness of the key concepts and regularities of this industry, the development of practical skills and complex analysis skills and the creation of different types of image products. The objectives of the course are to develop competencies: the ability to critically evaluate the information received, use logic and rational considerations, the completeness of the arguments for assessing the situation and the correctness of the chosen way of solving tasks in the field of image-making; - the ability to cognitive flexibility, the ability to analyze the phenomenon, situation, problem, taking into account different parameters, factors, causes; the ability to adapt thinking to solve problems when changing conditions or non-standard situations; ability to creativity, openness to new ideas and technologies; the ability to produce new ideas in the field of image building and promotion; awareness of the image as an integral part of the person's activity, organization in a modern society; Understanding of the mechanisms of influence of the image on the consciousness and subconsciousness of the audience; Awareness of the main legal and ethical constraints in the field of image-making in Ukraine and in the world; ability to manage, in particular, the formation of their own image and recognition of the results of their work; awareness of the possibilities of using theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of imageology in journalistic work.
