Abstract
The article deals with the development of labor education of preschool children in the modern system of pre-school education. Based on the analysis of modern research and publications, it is clarified that the problem did not find a holistic view in the writings of scientists. The main trends in the development of modern preschool education contribute to the emergence of new areas of education for children of preschool age. The content of labor education is transformed and transferred to other educational lines of existing programs. The analysis of sources made it possible to single out the current trends in the development of the labor education of preschool children: the consideration of labor education through the prism of economic education; work as a means of educating value orientations in preschool children; development of leadership qualities in communication and activity; actualization of manual labor (artistic activity); children's cooking.
