Among the peoples who lived in ancient times close to the Ukrainians, Jews have. European values of tolerance and mutual need of knowledge of the history and spiritual wealth of neighboring nations. In this study, briefly depicts the main milestones of the Jews as a people and Judaism as a religion, highlighted landmark events in the history of Judaism and strive to understand the current processes of Judaism. Emphasis is placed on the eras of Abraham, of the First Temple, the Second Temple, the Roman Empire, the Middle Ages and the Zionist movement.
