Abstract
The monograph is devoted to the analysis of scientific approaches to the study of historical sources and their interpretation. The authors try to answer some questions of research of history, taking into account the interpretation of sources in scientific research. The analysis of the traditions of study of domestic and foreign experience of research of historical sources, in particular, the study of certain issues of Ukrainian history, European history, methodological foundations of historical knowledge, has been analyzed. The monograph is intended for professional historians, teachers and students, all who are interested in history as a science.
