Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of technical re-equipment of the Kyiv-Mezhigirsk faience factory of the second half of the 1850’s, which made it possible to change some traditions of manufacturing products of the enterprise and the ways of their decoration. Particular attention is paid to the issues of the latest approaches to the firing of faience, know-how in the equipment of that time (drying of the mass and model part), and the transition of the printing from copper boards on galvanoplasty.
