Abstract

The article is devoted to Yevhen Malanyuk, the eternal exile who survived two waves of emigration, a poet who created his historiosophical conception of Ukraine as a steppe of Greece. February became the starting and ending point for Malanyuk: he was born on February 1, 1897 in the Kherson region, and died on February 16, 1968, in far-away New York. And, according to his close acquaintance Natalia Livytska-Cold, "February was for him a place of frustration in love."
