Abstract
It's been 130 years since the birth of one of the most famous anarchists, but not all pages of his biography have been studied. The legendary life of Nestor Makhno raises too many questions - more than there are answers. If about its political and military activities, headed by insurgent peasant anarchist formations in the territory of Ukraine in the years 1918 - 1921, a lot was known, then fragmentary data was preserved on the life of emigration. but still try to follow the path of the ataman in Poland.
