Abstract
The article is devoted to the military and public figure, the teacher, the general-armored army of the UNR, and from 1920 - to the political emigrant - Vsevolod Petrov. July 10, 70 years ago, demented morally and physically, died at a hospital of the German camp for displaced persons in Augsburg. In recent years, the general has been trying to consolidate Ukrainian forces abroad while suffering from hunger. Is there a paradox: to have respect and recognition, and not to have livelihoods? Probably, this issue was relevant not only in the difficult postwar years, but still does not lose its severity.
