Abstract
The article described the categorical-conceptual analysis of the problem of the study of speech competence of future foreign languages teachers in the process of studying professional disciplines; a list of the main concepts of the problem of formation of speech competence of future foreign language teachers in the process of studying of special disciplines «competency», «speech», «speech competence», «professional discipline» and some related concepts; conceptual analysis of the problem of the study allows also the definition of «the formation of speech competence of future foreign language teachers» development as a combination of verbal knowledge and skills of foreign language communication of the future teachers of foreign languages, with concurrent formation of their positive motivation and self-development marked competence on the basis of competence, activity and socolinicova approaches
