Abstract
Purpose of the discipline: to expand the musical outlook of students through practical acquaintance with the directions and genres of academic and pop music; complex development of melodic, harmonic, timbral hearing, sense of rhythm, intra-auditory representations; development of figurative thinking, artistic taste; reading of vocal parties; acquisition of the basic professional skills of ensemble singing, collective music, necessary for future artistic activity.
