Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the current status of the beer market of Ukraine. The paper presents statistical and analytical data on the state of the beer market in Ukraine and Lithuania, Norway, Slovakia, Croatia over the last ten years. On the basis of the study, systemic problems have been identified that negatively affect the performance of beer beverage production. The main market leaders and beer trends are investigated. The reasons of the unstable situation of this market are found out. The main directions of development in the conditions of the economic crisis are determined. The necessity of attraction of international investments, which will help increase beer production volumes, will promote the development of the Ukrainian soft drinks sector and the economy of Ukraine as a whole.
