Abstract
The monograph presents the author's vision of evolution. state ideas in Ukraine early period. Analyzed its genesis and implementation of the leaders of the Zaporozhian Army in the second half of the XVII - XVIII centuries. The internal and external factors that hindered the process of the Ukrainian state have been identified.
