Abstract
The article analyzes and submits to the consideration of the guidelines of student youth regarding gender inequality. The correlation of concepts “gender” and “sex” is revealed. The theoretical and methodological approaches concerning the chosen problem are investigated. The main characteristics of gender inequality are determined, examples of research on gender discrimination are given. The stereotypical differences between men and women in the views of student youth have been theoretically researched. The conclusions about gender awareness of students about gender discrimination are presented.
