Abstract
The monograph is written according to the results of the project № 21720008 “High School Teacher Competence in Change” with the support of the International Visegrad Fund and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The work presents common and different approaches to system of education and higher education in Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. Authors specify a set of actions that contribute to improving the quality of high school teacher’s activities and development of their professional competencies. The publication is intended for scientific and pedagogical workers who are interested in theoretical, methodological and practical issues of improving the professional activity of teachers, modernizing and ensuring the quality of higher education in conditions of its reformation.
