Abstract
The article describes the features of familiarization of senior group of preschool children with paintings dedicated to the capital of Ukraine - the city of Kiev. Methodical recommendations are given for conducting discussions on the paintings “View of the Park Bridge” (artist S. Homko), “Park. Over the Dnieper "(artist S. Shishko).
