Abstract
Caring for a child, protecting his physical and psychological health are the priority tasks of parents and teachers. But are we competent enough to organize a safe educational environment both in a preschool institution and at home? Are we able to act in extreme conditions, make non-standard decisions? And how to build skills in preschool children in favor of a competency-based approach? The author reflects on these issues in the article.
