Abstract
The scientific novelty of this study is justified by the fact that it first analyzed the political and legal support of public administration in the field of protection and use of transboundary waters in Ukraine. The basic components of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of protection and use of transboundary waters, regulated by the provisions of international law, are investigated. The measures planned by the Government of Ukraine in the field of protection and use of transboundary waters in the territory of Ukraine are outlined. Suggestions for improvement of political and legal support of public administration in the field of protection and use of transboundary waters in Ukraine
