The aim of the course is to prepare journalists for work as correspondents / editors in online editions of offline media (newspapers, magazines, television channels, radio companies) and online media that are able to create an informational multimedia product in accordance with the needs of today. In particular:  prepare a journalist for a network publication who speaks HTML;  teach to use the WordPress content management system;  introduce the skills of group work in the “cloud”, using the Prezi presentation preparation system as an example;  teach to freely operate on the genres of web journalism;  ensure the assimilation of a wide range of instrumental knowledge, skills for successful professional activities, in particular in writing and editing an informational multimedia product.  familiarize students with the rules for adapting texts for search engines and SEO-copywriting. The objective of the training course:  to acquaint with the main electronic publications of Ukraine and the world, their development and problems,  familiarize with search technologies and high-quality selection of information on the network,  teach the basics of preparing electronic publications,  to teach the features of working in a web edition, both as an editor and as a correspondent,  master the means of protecting information on the network and the legal framework of a web journalist.
