Abstract

The article is dedicated to analysis of how the mode (innovative or traditional) of teachers' professional activity influences the development of teachers' professional I-concept. The article presents the results of empirical research of the influence of teachers' professional activity on development of teachers' professional I-concept as a whole and in components. The article reflects the results of comparative analysis of development of professional I-concept and its components (cognitive, emotional-evaluative and behavioral-regulatory) of teachers who work in innovational or traditional pedagogical environment. It shows peculiarities of the development of separate components of teachers' professional I-concept with regard to different modes of professional activity (traditional or innovative). The article also shows peculiarities of the development of separate components of teachers' professional I-concept with regard to different modes of professional activity.
