Historical memory is one of the most important factors that can influence the formation of ethnic identity, which is part of the process of socialization of the individual. The memory of the history of its people is a rather powerful unifying factor of the representatives of a particular ethnic group. It uses a variety of manipulative techniques, including sophistry.
