Abstract
Modern higher education requires improving the quality of training of future teachers of music. This requires a constant creative search, the use of innovative techniques and modern approaches, the implementation of interactive working methods. The use of computer technology in the music activities of music teachers is one of the most promising technical means of musical education in lessons of musical art, in extra-curricular work and study groups (choir, vocal ensemble). Mastering the technique of student’s choral conducting training based on interdisciplinary links with related disciplines of music, conducting a detailed analysis of choral works, the use in practical classes in choral conducting of advanced technologies and a variety of innovative methods of modular training will accelerate the formation of methodical competence of the future teachers of music.
