Abstract
The article presents the results of an empirical study of professional self- determination of senior pupils, describes psychodiagnostic tools and interpretation of the obtained data. Also the factors of conscious and independent choice of profession on the basis of author's theoretical and graphic model of professional self- determination of senior pupils are determined in the publication. The study of the indicators determining the character of the factors of professional self-determination of senior pupils was conducted. Namely: reflectivity, critical (rational) thinking, actualization of the values of professional self- determination and internal motives for choosing a profession, the development of the volitional sphere and the internal control locus.
