Abstract

The results of empirical research of the role of reflexivity as future psychologists’ personal characteristic in the conditions of crises of professional studying are analyzed in the article. Contradictions of future psychologist’ personal becoming in the conditions of professional studying were described in the scientific sources. This is indicator of the students' experiences of crises of professional training. Future psychologists are experiencing several crises during their professional training. This is a crisis of adaptation, a crisis of approbation, a crisis of professional readiness and crisis of professional identification, which students are experiencing in the first, third, fourth and sixth years of professional studying. A reflexivity as significant personal and professional characteristic of future psychologists is an indicator of these crises. A developed reflexivity of future psychologists allows analyzing and evaluating the success of their personal and professional becoming carefully. An empirical research was conducted with students of the specialties «Psychology» and «Practical Psychology» of Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University. Methods of questioning, testing, quantitative and qualitative data analysis were used in the research. The purpose of research is studying the content of reflection and the role of reflectivity of future psychologists in the conditions of crises of professional training. The dynamics of future psychologists’ emotional support, of the level of frustration and stressfulness of professional training was revealed in the research. These dynamics was confirmed the prevalence of experiencing crises of professional training by third, fourth and sixth year students. Test results indicate that the vast majority of future psychologists have a developed reflection. The dominance of students’ reflection wish negative content was recorded also. This tendency to focus on the problematic aspects of professionalization is provoking of future psychologists’ crisis experiences. At the same time, the critical and realistic understanding of future psychologists’ motivation for choosing a profession, of internal obstacles to professional formation and of adequate designation of his type were revealed. Finally, a developed reflexivity is an important prerequisite of the successful coping of crises by future psychologists.
