Abstract

The purpose of teaching the discipline - to familiarize students with the complex of marketing communications, its elements and their relationship, gain basic knowledge and skills in marketing marketing, familiarization with advertising, methods of sales promotion, Public Relations, direct marketing, personal sales. The Marketing Communication discipline in student preparation is an important part of marketing promotion. This is driven by the training goals of media professionals who have advanced forms, methods and marketing management tools. The course aims to deepen and detail students' knowledge in the field of company promotion. The tasks of studying the discipline are the formation of knowledge, abilities, skills and competences in the field of mechanisms of using the theory of marketing communications in practical work. The main tasks of studying the discipline "Marketing Communications" are the following: - determining the nature, role, place of marketing communications in a market economy; - analysis of the functioning of marketing communication tools: advertising, PR, sales promotion, personal sales, trade show activities, etc .; - study of the influence of marketing communications on the formation of demand and stimulation of sales of media goods; - determination of methods of economic and communicative (social-psychological) effectiveness of marketing communications.
