Abstract
The article is dedicated to the work of the famous Ukrainian artist Olexander Boroday. The chronological order shows the main dates and facts from the biography of the artist, which contributed to his emergence as a leading Ukrainian enamelist. The main artistic achievements, including easel and monumental compositions, installations, sculpture and jewelry are analyzed. The purpose of the publication is to reveal O. Boroday's multifaceted personality as an artist, enamel artist and teacher. As a result, it is emphasized that the innovative transition from miniature forms to monumental ones in the application of hot enamel in the territory of Ukraine is related directly to the artist's name. O.Boroday started a new stage in the development of enamel art, left behind a significant creative legacy and students, whose continue to popularize enamel in their homeland and abroad.
