Abstract
Problems related to the functioning of water management are the subject of research within the technical, economic, legal and other branches of science. Domestic scientists in the context of these branches of science are developing models to improve the functioning of water management. In addition, the scientific and theoretical development of a model for the formation of political and legal foundations of public administration in the field of water management of Ukraine has not yet been implemented, which justifies the scientific novelty of the study.
