Abstract

The article analyzes the paradigm of forming a political and legal mechanism of public management in the field of water management in Ukraine. The system and powers of public institutions in the field of water management of Ukraine are investigated. The system of special bodies of state management of water management of Ukraine is included the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine, the State Agency for Water Resources of Ukraine, the State Service of Geology and Mines of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine, the State Ecological Inspection of Ukraine. The concept of “political and legal mechanism of public management in the field of water management” and “modern public institutions authorized to formulate and implement the directions of state water policy” are formulated.
