Abstract

In the article, the problem of future preschool teacher training, which is aimed at motivation for professional and personal development is highlighted. The research considering various approaches to professional training of future educators is analysed. The components of professional training are outlined, notably disciplines, pedagogical practice and attestation. The artistic component of professional training, which is construed as a factor directly influencing the formation of future preschool teacher artistic competence is described. The emphasis is placed on the challenges in future preschool teacher training related to the arrangement of preschool children’s art education. The challenges are caused by the necessity for forming the reflective culture of all participants of the educational process. It is determined that one of the factors able to influence the quality of future preschool teacher education is deemed to be the implementation of innovative teaching technologies. The process of future preschool teacher training based on the use of technology of artistic reflection and image creation is defined. The core components of the technology of artistic reflection and image creation focused on the development of basic qualities of the child's personality, notably artistic reflection and image creation, are considered. The principles of technology of artistic reflection and image creation are characterized, namely, the unity of three medium; synthesis of approaches to education; systematicity, consistency and continuity; reliance on subjective experience; electivity; positive incentives; creation of the corporate atmosphere of learning, mutual trust and respect, cooperation and mutual support and creation of a successful situation. The methodological toolkit of the technology of artistic reflection and imaging is determined, notably, cognitive teaching methods, cooperative learning methods, interactive learning methods, imitation and illustrative methods. The algorithm of technology approbation of art reflection and image creation in the process of teaching methodology of art disciplines is described. The efficiency of the approved technology confirmed by the data of the final pedagogical diagnostics is demonstrated.
