Abstract
The article summarizes the approaches to the definition of "communicative competence"; its subsystems are marked - phonetic, lexical, grammatical, speech; indicates the limitation of the possibilities for harmonious development of the child through the formation of communication skills; language cliches, obligatory in communication and effective methods for mastering communicative-speech actions by children are proposed.
