Abstract

Objective: to train highly qualified competitive specialists in the field of professional support and assistance to people with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), able to plan, develop and implement individualized intervention strategies aimed at improving the quality of life of these people, their successful self-realization in education and social life. Tasks: 1) to form general competencies:  worldview (ideas about the factors of successful human life, conditions and content of consistent assistance to persons with functional disabilities, which allows their socialization and self-realization in society);  civil (knowledge of the best traditions and experience of correctional and developmental theory and practice in Ukraine);  interpersonal interaction (development of the ability to build relationships with a child who has ASD, family members, colleagues; the ability to work in a team);  information and communication (the ability to search in collaboration with other students and teachers; the ability to present the results of theoretical and practical research);  creative (ability to make decisions in a situation of uncertainty, go beyond stereotypes about correctional and developmental work with autistic children and gain new experience, based on the uniqueness of the existing situation);
