Abstract

Manuscript satirical magazines at the Press Apartment of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen (USR) were an important ideological component of the volunteer legion. Satirical publications lifted the spirits and fighting spirit of soldiers in difficult times. However, these magazines have not only historical but also artistic value, and the work of Sich artists influenced the development of Ukrainian printed graphics.
