Abstract
The article is devoted to the characteristics of the newest ethical and philosophical trend – Аntinatalism. The ideas of David Benatar, Ken Coates, Jim Crawford, Peter Zapffe, Thomas Ligotti on the inexpediency of the continuation of the human race, taking into account the potential suffering that a person will experience in this life. The article compares Аnti-natalism and Reyeksivism as directions of modern philosophizing. The philosophy of anti-natalism focuses on important issues of bioethics. Proponents of Reexivism and Аnti-natalism aim to prevent the suffering of all living beings, especially humans, by refusing to be born. An assessment of Аntinatalism is given, the reasons for the emergence and popularity of these trends in modern society are studied.
