Abstract
The course "Media Literacy and Professional Standards: Journalism of Crisis Situations" should form the theoretical and practical base of a bachelor's degree in journalism, therefore, the purpose of its study is to master the methodology of creating media materials, in particular, devoted to the coverage of crisis situations, to form ideas about the specifics of interviewing people who have suffered as a result of the crisis, awareness of the role of the QMS in the coverage of crisis situations and their solution. The main objective of the course is to develop the ability to create media materials about current crisis situations: the coronavirus pandemic and the conflict in Donbas. Special attention to the issue of safety and ethics in the coverage of these topics and the placement of materials on various platforms, primarily on television. The objectives of the course are: - to teach to practically apply professional standards in information journalism; - to develop skills in creating various forms of information presentation, in particular - television knowledge bases (VM3) and stories; - highlight the characteristics of crisis journalism and formulate an idea of working on materials on topical topics - the fight against coronavirus and the conflict in Donbass; - pay special attention to the technologies of interviewing people; - to learn the norms of safe work of a journalist in crisis situations; - to understand the ethical aspects of the work of a journalist in a situation.
