Abstract
The discipline "Introduction to the specialty" is designed to form an understanding of the theoretical foundations of the activities of an international journalist, the functioning of the media and news agencies in foreign countries, as well as the development of relevant practical skills. Therefore, the purpose of studying the discipline "Introduction to the specialty" is to familiarize students with the idea of the place and role of journalism in the system of international relations, modern types of international communication and coverage international (news, studying the processes of international information cooperation, as well as providing an opportunity to master important practical skills in covering international events.
