Abstract
The aim of the course is to form a base of theoretical knowledge about professional journalistic standards and ethical norms and to develop practical skills and skills for their observance in the work of a journalist in the periodical print media. radio and television, news agencies, Internet publications. The objective of the course is as follows: to familiarize students with the international and Ukrainian regulatory framework that determines the professional and moral requirements for the work of a journalist, examples of compliance and violation of its norms in the activities of modern media: to form guidelines for the professional culture of media professionals based on the analysis of the phenomena of practice and training own materials for publication.
