Abstract
The article is devoted to the development of the basic foundations of critical thinking of older preschool children by means of situational and game exercises. It reveals the key concepts of the problem and the essence of the development of the basic principles of critical thinking in older preschool children, defines and substantiates the criteria for the effectiveness of the basic principles of critical thinking in older preschool children through situational exercises. The author pays special attention to the analysis of the technology of formation and development of critical thinking in preschool children.
