Annotation. Shandrygos V., Latyshev N., Pervachuk R., Yaremenko V. Analysis of the results of the performances of the Ukrainian national women's wrestling team. Purpose: to analyze the results of the performances of the athletes of the Ukrainian women's wrestling team at international competitions from 1992 to 2020 and make a forecast for the future Games of the XXXII Olympiad in Tokyo (Japan). Мaterial and methods. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature and Internet sources; analysis of the official protocols of the competition; methods of mathematical statistics. The performances of the athletes of the Ukrainian women's wrestling team at the European Championships, World Championships and the Olympic Games among adults from 1992 to 2020 are analyzed. The number of medals received was counted. For more detailed analysis and forecasting, the competitions were combined into four-year Olympic cycles. The output of the performance results is taken from the official website of the International Wrestling Federation «United World Wrestling». MS Excel was used for statistical data processing and graphical presentation of the results. Results: the analysis of the results shows that during the years of independence the female wrestlers won 104 medals at the European Championships (including the II European Games 2019), of which 27 (25,96 %) were gold. On average, sportswomen won 3,85 medals during the analyzed period. The statistics of awards at the world championships show 35 medals, of which 10 (28,57 %) are gold. This is 2.97 times less than the number of medals at the European Championships, and 2.7 times less gold medals. On average, 1.35 medals were won at each world championship. Analyzing the data for each Olympic cycle, it was determined that the number of medals won at the European Championships is increasing. Considering the world championships, there is a wave-like trend, the maximum number of won medals (8 medals) in the 2005-2008 Olympic cycle and in the 2009-2012 Olympic cycle – 7 medals. The current Olympic cycle (2017-2020) and the previous one (2013-2016) are not the worst in terms of the number of medals won (6 medals each). Ukrainian wrestlers have always claimed medals in the Olympic Games. However, it was possible to receive awards only in all two Olympic cycles (2001-2004 and 2005-2008). The wrestling team still has a chance to replenish the number of licenses for licensed tournaments. Analyzing previous performances, there is still hope for the effectiveness of our national women's wrestling team, and given the young and strong team, the probability of winning medals at the moment is quite high. Conclusions. The Ukrainian women's wrestling team over the past few Olympic cycles has somewhat reduced the number of representatives at the Games of the Olympics, which affects its performance. Making a forecast for performances at the Olympic Games in 2021, it is worth noting that at the moment the Ukrainian national team has two licenses won at the 2019 World Cup. The wrestling team still has every chance to replenish the number of licenses for the corresponding licensed tournaments during the first half of 2021. The stability of the performance of the team leaders allows us to positively assess the ability of the Ukrainian national team to bring medals at the upcoming competitions.
