Abstract
The goal of the discipline is to motivate and update a new approach to training future journalists based on the formation of their cross-media competence. In modern processes of interaction, media unification, new opportunities open up for the dissemination of information, and journalism plays a role in these processes. one of the leading roles, then it determines the content and technological components of the professional activity of a modern journalist. The main tasks of studying the discipline "Cross-media journalism" are: - to provide an understanding of the dynamism of journalistic creativity associated with the individual mental qualities of the individual; - literary ability, language proficiency, intelligence, social responsibility, memory, thinking, search for ideas, emotional stability, self-control, etc .;
