Abstract

The article studies the phenomenon of communication platform as one of the leading modern information and communication units. Attention is paid to the phenomenon of the platform, its definition and discourse as a separate category is studied. The relevance of the chosen topic lies in the need to clearly define the phenomenon of the communication platform and the description of the existing discourse, especially given the cultural and communication components. The field of studying communication platforms (hereinafter referred to as communication platforms) as separate and independent units is problematic, because today this type of plane is practically not considered as a separate one. The study describes the journalistic discourse of the communication platforms in terms of its content, genre, social and informative, relevant form of expression. Due to the possibility of synthesizing content, communication platforms were separated into an independent category, which now needs more in-depth study. The discourse of the unit is the need to study communication platforms from the standpoint of studying various aspects, including communication and cultural. The communication component of the discourse of the communication platforms should be described as leading and fundamental for the development of this type of information. After all, KPs are able to conduct communication and information policies both at the official and personal levels, affecting fundamentally different aspects of coverage of socially important issues. The level can also be different: from global to local. The global level of the communication platform should be considered to be platforms that take place within one country. The local certain, due to the need to inform the public about issues in accordance with local events and phenomena is researched. Communication platforms would have taken place among the representatives of different countries we have not found. It should be assumed that at present they are not relevant.
