Abstract

In the 1920-1930s, the Ukrainian press was developing in the conditions of the absence of the Ukrainian statehood. The Ukrainian press was under the influence of multi-vector ideological coordinates. Feminine and masculine models are analyzed in the multi-vector ideological Bukovyna press. Media narrative methods of female images modeling were framing, stereotyping, author's intention, appeal to public opinion, infantilisation of a woman, mesogonia. Men’s images were different in the multi-vector ideological Bukovyna press. In the newspaper “Chas” these characters are quite realistic, but men are models of hegemonic masculinity in a nationalist newspaper “Samostiynist’”.
