Abstract
Ukrainian dance plays in the formation of a dancer's performing skills significant role in the formation of professional competencies of the future choreographer. Studying dances of different regions of Ukraine, stylistic features and manner performing local zoning movements the student acquires the knowledge necessary for further professional activity.
