The discipline "Ukrainian Studies" is aimed at acquiring students of general humanities competencies: thinking skills (ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis, to identify errors and vulnerabilities in information data and concepts, contradictions and incompleteness of argumentation, readiness to learn new, lifelong learning). to master new knowledge and strategies / ways of thinking); development of reflection (critical and self-critical thinking, tendency to verify the results, concern for the quality of professional tasks); intellectual communication (tolerance for dissent, public speaking skills, ability to speak clearly and distinctly in the process of communication, group skills, openness, ability to perceive and take into account comments, optimize their own position in the process of discussion, attitude to dialogue); linguistic and textological ability (analysis and interpretation of the humanitarian text – ability to distinguish and reproduce the semantic structure of the text, assess the sequence and validity of argumentation, identify productive ideas, the ability to compare the content of different texts, search and summarize information on the problem, writing and analytical creation of systematic reviews of special literature, compliance with the standards of academic design of the text);
