Abstract
Professionalization of information and analytical activities in Ukraine is at the stage of formation, due to its diversity, lack of professional standards and the need to form basic qualification requirements for the profession of analyst, Information and analytical management is largely concentrated in the field of information case ", which necessitates the analysis of compliance with existing educational standards and professions. The Classifier of Professions in the subsection "Professionals in the field of archives, museum studies, librarianship, information and film programs" provides for professional activities in the field of information analytics, at the same time, there is no professional standard aimed at characterizing these activities. In the standard of higher education in the specialty 029 "Information, library and archival affairs" for the second (master's) level of higher education, the analytical component in special (professional subject) competencies is transformed into management and reflected in the ability to organize enterprises, organizations and institutions, in particular in archives and libraries.
