Abstract
The purpose of the discipline is to master the basic principles and principles of libraries, archives, information institutions to ensure intellectual freedom and access to information as an important component of democracy, to teach ethical principles of the library profession based on the concepts of intellectual freedom and social responsibility, denial of censorship, confidentiality.
