Abstract
The presented report of MoPED project presents information about the methodological and technical design of innovative classroom. In the first section of the report described the methodological basis of the using innovation class in the educational process for future teachers. There were analysed modern educational challenges and trends, there were described changes that are taking place in modern education, in particular the features of organization of modern education in comparison with the traditional ones. Different approaches to the definition of the list of XXI century skills, that should be formed in the process of modern education are presented, in particular, the requirements of the «P21 Framework for Learning of the 21st Century» are analysed. The concept and features of STEM / STEAM / STREAM approaches in comparison with traditional training are described and defined its advantages, it was analyzed psychological and pedagogical peculiarities of modern students, which must be considered when designing the use of innovative methods and means of training. The revolution in the field of digital education is already exists, students today have other needs and requirements for educational audiences, which is confirmed by the results of various studies. Therefore, special attention is paid to the peculiarities of using digital technologies in the educational process and the introduction of modern pedagogical technologies. In particular, modern evaluation principles are highlighted, peculiarities of forming assessment are presented, ways of organization of students’ joint educational activity, problem-based learning and project activity are offered. Define relevant innovative pedagogical technologies of teaching and their features, in particular, the concept of mixed learning and the model of its realization, as well as the method of Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) are considered in detail. The second section is devoted to the use of the innovative class in the educational process. It sets out the main characteristics of the ICR class, as well as recommendations for the different organization of rotational stations in the educational process. The third section describes the results of the authors’ research of the use of digital tools in the innovation class. The report has appendices that describe the peculiarities of designing innovative classes at the Universities, participants of the MoPed project. This study may be useful for teachers and lecturers to change teaching and learning approaches within the framework of the New Ukrainian School and in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine on Higher Education.
