Abstract
Characteristics of innovative small and medium-sized firms according to the classifications of L. Ramenskyi and Kh. Frizenwinkel in accordance with the involvement of these firms at the stage of diffusion of innovations in university of entrepreneurship are examined in the article. Key criteria that characterize the level of development of innovation-entrepreneurial university are analyzed and including: criteria of the level of development of the intellectual property institution, innovation infrastructure or ecosystem, the level of development of the university pursuing innovation policy. The order (sequence) of involvement of organizational forms of innovative activity into innovation process at the stage of diffusion of innovations is indicated. It is argued by research that the implementation of an innovative project is considered as a process that takes place over time and covers the following stages: the formation of an innovative idea (plan), project development, project implementation, project completion. Each stage is characterized by a number of risks, depending on the origin and type of innovations that are working at entrepreneurship university teams of researchers. Main criterias that characterizing the level of development of innovation and entrepreneurship university are established, in particular in terms of establishing the level of development of intellectual property, level of development of innovation infrastructure or ecosystem, level of development of the university pursuing innovation policy and level of national legal system. Factors and problems of the formation of demand and supply of innovative project by ecosystem of the innovation-entrepreneurial university are determined. The article presents the typology of organizational forms of market institutions-organizations according to the level of their involvement into innovation process at the stage of diffusion of innovations in the entrepreneurship university. Authors express the opinion that the “engine” of innovations should be considered startups –quickly “fused” innovative ideas, which are produced by young, active, willing to take risks. This type of projects are flexible, they can easily change strategy, transform in the process, improve the latest product/service.
